Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins has confirmed the body found in a storage unit as missing man Eric M. King.
Watkins says a storage unit in the 2900 block of Farmington Road rented out to King was searched earlier at around 1:45 p.m.
King was found deceased in his vehicle.
Initially, there were no signs of foul play.
Autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning, according to the coroner.
He was originally reported missing Sunday by family in South Dakota.
