Micron Applies for Federal CHIPS Act Aid for $100 Billion Central New York Project



Washington – Micron Technology has submitted its application to the federal government for potentially billions of dollars in grants for its planned $100 billion complex of computer chip plants in Syracuse’s northern suburbs.

The company disclosed today in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it submitted two separate applications for federal funding under the CHIPS and Science Act.
