The team has devoted the latest Lost Ark Academy entry to previewing the update, including Brelshaza ( see our guide to the original raid). Designed to be a tough raid when the normal mode debuted, completing the Brelshaza raid in Hard mode is likely to challenge even the seasoned player. When the Hard mode is out, you will need an item level of 1540 for gates 1 and 2, 1550 for gates 3 and 4, and 1560 for gates 5 and 6. The item level requirements are just the beginning, as there are new mechanics and challenges to contend with. Designs like this are why there are gates in the first place.
Ancient gear will require materials from the Brelshaza Hard mode raid. If you want to take your gear up a notch, you’ll have to sort out how to get through the new raid. Ancient gear will share set effects and options with Relic gear, and you can transfer Tier 3 Upper Relic gear to Ancient level gear.
The April update will also open up free and premium levels of Ark Pass Season 3. Some of the rewards this time include Honing Material selection chests, Legendary card packs, and the Chromarong pet on the free tier. Premium tiers could net you the Dark Priest Warhorse Mount, battle items, and for Super Premium, the Dark Priest skin collection.
Since there are new challenges, it makes sense that there are also new progression events. There’s a new Punika Powerpass coming in April, Hyper Express Plus and Engraving Support events, and another round of Story Express. Each of these will help a chosen character in different ways.
Also coming in April is the brand new Hanumatan Guardian Raid, which the team promises more info on soon.
